Who benefits from responsible toruism?

Responsible travelPreserving the natural environment is inextricably linked to supporting local economies. If managed carefully, tourism is a way of generating income with excellent long-term prospects which help Ecuadorean communities to protect their environment for future generations.

We encourage visitors to buy locally produced foods and handicrafts. We support individual travellers, because they can interact more easily with the local people. Using locally run businesses, and small family run businesses, means the revenue generated is well dispersed into communities where it is needed the most.
