Ecuador offers some of the greatest hiking areas of Latin America. Whether you like mountains, beaches or the jungle, you can find some great hiking areas in Ecuador.

Hiking from A to B is very uncommon in Ecuador. It is not considered a way of transport, but more a way to spend time getting to know a small area. Ecuador looks quite small on a map, but it is hardly the kind of country you hike from one border to another.
