Carchi is one of the smallest provinces of Ecuador. The province hasn't been explored by many tourists, but it has a lot to offer. The culture and natural environment both are very interesting.

Borders:
To the north Carchi borders with the Republic of Colombia; on the South and West with the Province of Imbabura; to the East with the Province of Sucumbíos and on the West with the Province of Esmeraldas.

Altitude:
From 1.200 m.s.n.m. in the Chota Valley, up to 4.768 m.s.n.m. on the top of the Volcano Chiles.
